The
second week of class talks about the beauty of God's plan. It was
revealed through history on
how God set everything into its place. God
is in control of events and situations even those that happened before
and after the coming of Christ and even today's event and the events to
come.
I
remember my experience in life. I was born without knowing who my
father was. I have a mother and yet she was not the one who takes
care of me. I knew her because she was mentioned and introduced to me
by my uncle and auntie. The saddest thing was I never felt that I have a
mother. A mother that takes care of me, loves me, provides for my
needs or even someone who sends me to school because she has left me.
At that time, I felt that I was just born and after that I was given
away to others. It was so hard. In fact, I felt mad to the Lord, I felt
angry to my parents, and I felt jealous when I saw kids with their
parents. I felt like I'm just a piece of trash - “no use at all”. I
can't understand my life. I'm seeking for love, seeking for answers but
I can't find any. I was like a “miner” always seeking and digging for
something but everything changed.
I was adopted by a family, a family who are believers. A God fearing
family with a disciplinarian husband and a loving wife took me as their
own. It was in their family that I felt being accepted and cared for. I
felt being loved by them. It was in their family that I learned a lot of
things especially godly things. I attended Sunday's schools. I attended
church activities. And the best thing is I was able to know Christ and
accepted Him as personal Savior and Lord. But it was not an easy
experience. I struggled a lot. It's not easy to accept it, and it’s not
easy to understand it but because of God I was able understand why
things happened that way. Why such things happened to me. Why he allowed
them. Now, there’s only one thing I know for sure, He has a great plan
for me. He plans for my good and for His glory!
In
relation to the history and series of events that happened before, it
is indeed, amazing to see and know the beauty of God's plan. He allows
and controls everything for His glory and purpose. Everything happens
for a reason. He never lets things happen without knowing about them. He
controls and guides every detail of every event. His plan is for the
good of His children. Even though some seemingly bad things happen to
His children, but by faith, we know that it shall be for His praise. For
indeed, history was set and revealed at the right time. Every event in
history was the event God wanted in order to fulfill His plan. It is
indescribably amazing. God is so great!

I too believe that God has a great plan for you! I know He wants the best for you. Though your situation now may be vague but continue to trust the Lord. He knows what He is doing with your life. I thank the Lord for creating you. I believe that through your past experiences, it molded you and become the person that you are now and I know that He is preparing you in becoming the person that He wants you to become. Hardships and trials are around us but always cling unto our God. He sees you. He knows your future! Do your best for the Lord. I know you have been struggling and is still haunt by your past experiences. I will pray for your healing. I just want to remind you that our satisfaction is in God alone. You have been seeking love from other people and many times it made you frustrated, down, unsatisfied that you kept on jumping from that girl to another one. I have understood you acting and doing that. Hopefully you will find satisfaction in God for only in Him that we are complete :). Remember that you are valuable to God. Everyone is! (2 Sam. 9:11). No tragedy is beyond God's sovereignty (Rom. 12:21). Your afflictions are designed not to break you but to bend you toward God (Job 13:15. You are handcrafted by God (2 Cor. 4:17)! God's great grace is working in your greatest weakness.
